Past Projects
Salontea
Tracy’s chain of international tea rooms - Salontea - saw outlets set up in New York, London, Paris, Japan and the Middle East. The brand earned a spot in Oprah’s “Favorite Things,” with favored blends such as The Dancer and The Fashionable Dandy, personally concocted with an artist’s palette by Tracy herself.
Tracy has always been obsessed with the rituals behind tea, especially those of the European aristocracy in the 18th Century - and that was the inspiration behind the look, feel and taste of Salontea. She displayed that to a fashionable extreme when she had the crew of Bravo’s Mad Fashion show make her a Marie Antoinette-inspired dress to become a living emobiement of the Salon Tea brand.
When Salontea opened in Dubai, The Royal Family of the United Arab Erimates shared in cherishing Tracy’s blends with her as a guest of honor.
Tracy Stern Shoes
Tracy’s shoe line came into being when she created a patented shoe design featuring interchangeable uppers that gave the wearer multiple options with just one pair. From there the Tracy Stern Shoes line took off internationally, selling to destinations such as Japan, Russia, Paris and Italy. It was equally popular with celebrities around the world including the likes of Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan.
Elton John even championed the collection at his Vanity Fair Oscar party where he had 200 lucky people win the opportunity to have Tracy customize a pair of shoes for each of the winners drawn from the celebrity crowd in attendance.
Skateboard Studio
Tracy’s Skateboard Studio venture saw her dive head first into designing limited edition custom decks that proved popular with skate pros and casual weekend warriors alike.
Designs were inspired by her love for all things retro and way out, encompassing styles that covered psychedelia, kabbalah, disco, nature and more.
Launched at a glitzy pink carpet event in New York that saw the who’s who of the big apple’s social and skate scene in attendance, these days some of the boards can be spotted as shelves in the rooms at Tracy’s Palm Springs Art Hotel.
Tea and Co.
Tracy’s Tea & Co. business presented an artisanal iced tea collection, tastefully crafted with unique flavors and designer notes for passionate iced tea aficionados with discerning palettes.
Inspired by nature and botanicals as well as international travel, art and design, this noteworthy tea line infused passionate quality and married it with subtle ephemeral blends, all at the hand of master tea blender herself, Tracy Turco.
